Argyle Pink is a native dry pink gin, and our tribute to the Kimberley Region that we’ve called home for over 40 years. Named after the local dipping pond (Lake Argyle), this is a pink gin in only way that the Hoochery knows how to do.
Except for the elusive Juniper Berry, all the botanicals have been sourced from the East Kimberley Region, within cooee of our distillery. Wild Mango (Buchanania Obovata), Native White Currant (Flueggea Virosa), Native Lemon Grass (Cymbopogon Bombycinus), Boab leaves (Adansonia Gregorii) and Coriander (Coriandrum Sativum) grown on our farm, have each been picked and distilled for a distinctly East Kimberley expression of an Australian Dry Gin. We then add native Blood Root (Haemodorum Coccineum) for natural colouring to create our native pink gin — a truly rare gem of the Kimberley.
Fancy trying it with a mixer? Try our Argyle Pink Gin Grapefruit & Tonic Premix.

I love Pink Gin, this is not ok. It’s very expensive and tastes like trees. Sorry, definitely not for me.

Hi there, really sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy this one. It could be the native botanicals that are giving off that tree taste for you maybe. We really appreciate the honest review regardless though thanks 🙏

Wow this is definitely the best gin I’ve every tasted. I love it straight with ice or a slice of cucumber because the flavour is amazing . Have shared it with friends because it’s so good I just want to introduce them to it and their opinion has been the same. Such a beautiful flavour. Congratulations on an amazing gin!

Hi Jenny,
That was our goal, a pink gin that still had all the class of a dry gin, but still with an completely unique flavour profile offered by our native botanicals. Glad you enjoyed it!

A beautiful gin… crisp on the rocks or a lovely refreshing drink with Fever Tree aromatic tonic and a slice of lime. Just wished we still lived in the Top End so we could visit again!

We are new to Gin, was pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed the Pink Gin over ice with a touch of soda water and slice of lime. Waiting on next delivery going to try Out of Ord this time.

Hi Roslyn,
thank you for your great review.
We find also find the Argyle Pink goes fantastic with soda. It is quite a subtle gin as all the botanticals are native so more subtle in flavour. The soda lets these shine through.

I bought some this afternoon & forgot to buy tonic water, so I just had it with ice & homemade soda water & just loved it. It needs no adornment, except I’ll try it with native finger limes. Xxxc

Hi Amanda,
Its quite a subtle gin so we agree, soda is perfect. But a touch of fresh lime never goes a stray.

Lorraine –
It’s the best pink gin ever. I would purchase this every working trip I did to Kununurra. I’m so grateful for my friends who passed through your doors last week and are bringing me home a couple of bottles.

HI Lorraine,
So glad to hear you enjoyed it.

This is hands down my favourite gin. Tried it while visiting the Hoochery early in the year and have been obsessed since. Its hard to find in Perth as it sells fast, so now I order direct and have it delivery for free. It’s divine, especially with a touch of grapefruit juice and tonic.

Hi Linda. Thank you for your kind comments. We are trying to work on getting more bottleshops on board to make purchasing easier. One of our favorite drinks is also Grapefruit and Rosemary G&T.
What you will need to make our Grapefruit and Rosemary G&T:
– 45ml Argyle Pink Australian Dry Gin
– 30ml Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
– 10ml Rosemary sugar syrup
– Tonic Water
How to make our G&T:
1. Add all ingredients to a glass with ice and top up with tonic water
2. Garnish with grapefruit and rosemary sprig
3. ENJOY!
Don’t like tonic water? Try with soda water instead
How to make rosemary sugar syrup:
Add 1:1 sugar and boiling water mix well, steep rosemary leaves for 3o minutes. Remove and use as garnish

G’day Narelle! Well, it is not every day that you wake up and get to read such awesome words of encouragement. Can’t tell you how much it means to us that you really enjoyed our gin. They say blood, sweat and tears makes a good product and there’s certainly a lot of sweat in this one as we hand-pick the native botanicals during the Kimberley wet season.

Thank you Erin, it is absolutely wonderful to hear this feedback! Our Argyle Pink Gin is our tribute to the Kimberley. Not the easiest to make having to hand-pick native botanicals in the middle of the wet season but we’re up for the challenge.

This is a beautiful smooth gin that’s best served with a good quality tonic like Capi made in Australian and a slice of fresh cucumber.

G’day Helen. Thank you for your review! We have tried to encompass the essence of the Kimberley into this product by using all native botanicals. And we agree, how good are Capi! Great Aussie company and products.

Jacqui McNeil –
Really not nice. When You open the bottle it just smells like alcohol, no aromatics at all.
(0) (0) Watch Unwatch
Office Hoochery (verified owner) –
Hi Jacqui. Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We are sorry to hear our Argyle Pink wasn’t to your liking. It is a very subtle gin due to the fact that it is distilled all from native botanicals. Native botanicals in their nature are very light in flavour and less aromatic. We do however, have our tropical gin – Out Of The Ord – back for sale soon. It is a very citrus forward, fruity, fun gin that you might enjoy more.

I don’t normally like pink gin as it can be a little too sweet but this pink gin is sensational! Perfect with Soda Water for a refreshing summer drink! Thankyou

Office Hoochery (verified owner) –
G’day Danielle! Thank you for your wonderful review. You are right, our Argyle Pink is quite unique in that it is a very dry, pink gin. The very subtle native botanicals do make it less sweet and we love it with soda, too. Sometimes tonic can be too dominant for it.
